Music at McClellan was happy to add T.A.D. of Jazz to the 2007 Longleaf Series. If you are one of those patrons that is relunctant to leave after the symphony finishes, you'll be pleased to find the opportunity to stay late after concerts 2 and 3 for jazz until midnight. T.A.D. of Jazz is the newest jazz group in the Anniston area. The group is composed of Tyson Hall (trumpet), Ruben D. Mitchell (saxophone), Kerwin Allen (bass), Dewayne Dye (piano), Eddie Bullock (guitar), and Deshandre Hill (drums). This fine group of musicians plays a variety of standard jazz coupled with up-tempo modern tunes in a jazz style. T.A.D. of Jazz plays music that is entertaining to people of all ages. Be prepared to hear tunes that range from Frank Sinatra and John Coltrane to Grover Washington Jr. and Chaka Kahn. |
