The 2011 concert season at Music at McClellan draws to a close this weekend with the Etowah Youth Orchestra on stage at the Monteith Amphitheater, our new home at McClellan.

This week's concert features four separate ensembles, all from the Etowah Youth Orchestra. The ensembles feature Strings, Woodwinds, Brass and Saxophones. The musical selections promise to be as varied as the ensemble themselves. The Etowah Youth Orchestra is nationally recognized for their commitment to new music. Under the direction of Music Director and Conductor Michael R. Gagliardo, the Orchestra has presented concerts throughout the United States and abroad, including Carnegie Hall in New York City; the Lincoln Center in New York City; the Millennium Stage at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC; Manston and Stratford-Upon-Avon in England; Chicago; St. Louis; New Orleans; Philadelphia; New Haven; and Boston. To learn more about the Etowah Youth Orchestra visit www.culturalarts.org/eyo_aboutus.asp

Concerts begin each Saturday with music from 6 pm to 8 pm on the Monteith stage. Please tell your friends and invite anyone who might be interested in checking out the Monteith and listening to some great live music.

Admission is free; donations are greatly appreciated. Bring your own chairs. Soft drinks and water are available for sale. Space is limited so skip the big cooler and fancy picnic table, and just sit back and enjoy the music.

Saturday, June 11th:
