Despite the best laid plans, the weather didn't cooperate for the very first concert of Music at McClellan. Heavy rains all afternoon had turned the parade grounds into a muddy bog. The decision was made to move inside the Buckner Center Exhibit Hall. Buckner Center was in the early stages of undergoing a $2 million renovation. Volunteers and audience members pitched in to move lumber and scaffolding out of the way.
